~.~

When I met you still had the marks of the lost wings on your back.
You Still had bunches of blond hair, fiery eyes.
It was still strange for you to walk on two feet, to know you could not float, looking at humans from afar.
I thought it would be difficult for you to be so far from home, to fall like that, as if you were a bird who lost it’s nest and no longer know how to fly. Change the fresh vertigo  of the heights by the dry land, that two strange legs would now have to learn to know.
The more I listened, the more I realized that you were an angel, of that I never had doubts.
Only I forgot to ask where you had fallen from,  and I didn’t see that the last feather that fell were not white, they were black.

Poderia vir Morfeu / Morpheus could come

Aqui sentada, poderia vir Morfeu, entregar-me-ia toda a ele.

Sonhei-me feita árvore, by Isa Lisboa

The wind passes between the tree leaves, playing a rhythmic symphony.

Seating here, Morpheus could come, I would give my self to him. I would let his kiss to make me rest, involved with the earth’s smell, with the life bursting from it.

Maybe the earth would pull me to itself, and I would become a tree also, with firm roots, roots buried in the ground, and my arms would became branches. With leaves like these ones, so that the wind would play music with me.

May my body become a tree trunk, that many years from now someone would try to surround me with their arms and would not find the hand on the other side.

Sturdy tree. Resistant to time.

Here I am lying down. Maybe the trees just ask their roots to come out e wrap my ankles, my wrists, my legs, all me.

And so I will not leave.

And so I will have a place.

Tempo / Time

Efémero, by Isa Lisboa

…

I wanted to talk to Time, understand if those who criticize it are right. It doesn’t seem as arbitrary as it is accused of.

Maybe the whim is on those who try to stop it… Because, after all… Is it Time who dissolves or are we the ones who dissolve it?

Borboleta / Butterfly

Mulher-borboleta - Isa Lisboa, (Baseado numa foto da web)

Um dia a crisálida torna-se em borboleta.

Algumas vivem escondidas sob a forma de mulher.

***

One day the crysalis becomes a butterfly.

Some live hidden under the shape of a woman.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Borboleta e mulher.

*****
I left my house –safe – and I went searching for myself. Lost, I looked for a mirror where I could see myself as I am. A lost place. Where I didn’t listen to voices witch baffle me. A tree, where to launch myself from, and try my wings, hidden for so long.
And, in the middle of the journey, I found you. And I wanted to stay, because I saw. In you I can undress when I arrive, fall asleep naked, I will never be cold.
In you I can fly.
Butterfly  and woman.
